The misunderstood came to me in a time of great need - A time when all felt lost and no one could possibly understand what I was going through. I found an outlet that helped me see that I didn’t understand things, myself. How could anyone else understand what I was going through if I couldn’t?

These may be stories, but to me, they’re my story. Every single Hero, villain, anti-hero and their accidents caused by losing control is somehow an extension of myself, my experiences, or something from a period of time when I felt misunderstood.

Ranging from my struggle with addiction, to relationship problems, and the social awkwardness that came along with discovering my own path. The Misunderstood gave me a platform from which I could tell my story in hopes that it might help someone else understand theirs.

There are also character-specific links on each of their individual pages. Remember, this is a work in progress by one guy who works 45+ hours a week and also tries to have a social life.

They have been broken down into different sections, including:

- the Gang: Contains information about where they stand in the Super-Powered Hierarchy. From Ruler to hero and Villain to anti-hero and Misunderstood.

- Misunderstood: Explains what about their powers or what their powers have caused that makes them feel misunderstood. Some of them are personality traits, some are addictions and some are one-time mistakes that will be with them for the rest of their lives.

-Understood: this is where my connection to each character is explained. How they relate to my experiences and my personality. The good, the bad and the ugly.

- Comic Strips: Comic strips created to show some of their struggles or how things came to be.

- Before and after: before this, I couldn’t draw a circle, let alone an army of super-flukes so it’s nice to be able to show where I was, to where I am now, to where I will be as I continue.
